UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio – The Grove City College women’s basketball team dropped to 5-3 Wednesday night with a 55-51 loss at John Carroll (4-4) in non-conference action at the DeCarlo Center.

John Carroll used a 7-0 run during the latter portion of the second half to turn a 44-43 Grove City lead into a 50-44 John Carroll advantage. The Blue Streaks carried a 53-48 lead into the final seconds but Grove City senior center Sandy O’Keefe (Perry, Ohio/Perry) drained a three-pointer to cut the lead to 53-51 with 4.3 seconds left.
