February 10, 1999--Talk about a career night.

Karin Hendrickson (New Wilmington, PA/Wilmington) scored a career-high 25 points and netted her 1,000th career point along the way as Grove City defeated visiting La Roche, 81-54, to move to 11-9 overall.  La Roche fell to 3-16.

Needing 11 points to become the school's seventh 1,000-point scorer all-time, Hendrickson drilled 11 of 12 shots from the floor and added a career-tying best 12 rebounds to go with five assists and four steals.

Erica Youngman (Portersville, PA/Slippery Rock) tallied 14 points on 5-for-7 shooting, including a 4-for-6 effort from outside the three-point arc.  Livia Wright (Economy, PA/Ambridge) fired in 13 points, making 4 of 5 shots from the floor.  The Lady Wolverines shot a season-best 60.8% (31-51), while holding La Roche to 25.0% (18-72).

Grove City heads to Waynesburg on Saturday for a Presidents' Athletic Conference clash set to tip-off at 5:30 p.m.  The game can be heard on 91.1, WSAJ-FM.
