December 12, 1998--Shooting 28% from the field and being outrebounded 47-34 proved to be disasterous for the Lady Wolverines as their I-79 rival Allegheny notched its first win over GCC in three years.

The Lady Wolverines jumped ahead 11-6 with 14:44 left in the first half before the Lady Gators rallied.  Allegheny (5-4) placed three players in double figures, led by Shannon Keller's 15 points.  Brooke Bourdeau tossed in 12, while Alyssa Hinkle added ten.  The Lady Gators shot 14-of-23 in the first half.

Karin Hendrickson (New Wilmington, PA/Wilmington) led Grove City (2-5) with nine points, 12 rebounds and five assists. 

The Lady Wolverines return to action Tuesday night at Hiram.  Tip-off is set for 7:30 pm.
