Lady Wolverines Net 65-Point Win Box Score GROVE CITY, PA, February 7, 2000 --Heather Gottshall (Valencia, PA/Knoch) paced five Lady Wolverines in double figures with a career-high 21 points as Grove City posted a 97-32 non-conference win over visiting Chatham Monday night. Grove City improved to 12-7, while Chatham fell to 0-14. Gottshall added a game-high 13 rebounds, five steals and three blocked shots. Christy Faller (Ijamsville, MD/Urbana) tossed in a career-best 19 points. Lindsay Yeats (McLean, VA/Langley) and Kristy Kegg (Johnstown, PA/Ferndale) each scored 12 points, while Kristina Dixon (Smethport, PA/Smethport) chipped in with 10. T.L. Thompson (Girard, PA/Girard) recorded a career-high eight assists. Yeats and Stephanie Murphy (Munroe Falls, OH/Stow-Munroe Falls) handed out five assists apiece. Livia Wright (Economy,PA/Ambridge) grabbed 10 boards, helping the Lady Wolverines outrebound Chatham, 50-26. Grove City shot 57% from floor and held the Cougars to 23% shooting. The Lady Wolverines resume conference play Wednesday night at Thiel. |
