GCC Falls to Westminster, 61-53 Box Score GROVE CITY, PA, February 15, 2000 --Lindsay Yeats (McLean, VA/Langley) scored a team-high 14 points and added eight rebounds and four assists, but Grove City couldn't rally from a 15-point halftime deficit as visiting Westminster prevailed, 61-53. Yeats took high-point honors by hitting 6 of 8 shots from the floor and 2 of
3 from the stripe. Kristina Dixon (Smethport, PA/Smethport) finished with 11 points
and Kristy Kegg (Johnstown, PA/Ferndale) chipped in with 10. Livia Wright (Economy,
PA/Ambridge) contributed eight points, a team-best nine boards and three blocked shots. Grove City fell to 12-10 overall, while Westminster improved to 4-18. The Lady Wolverines will host Waynesburg at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in their Presidents' Athletic Conference regular-season finale. |
