Lady Wolverines take second
in Washington
WASHINGTON, PA, April 8, 2002--Three Lady Wolverines posted top-10 finishes as
the Grove City College women's golf team claimed second place at the Washington
& Jefferson College Invitational, held at the Golf Club of Washington on
Monday.
Junior Kristin Costanzo (Powell, OH/Olentangy) placed fourth in the field of 29 with a team-best score of 48. Freshman Mary Brown (Carnegie, PA/Carlynton) tied for seventh overall with a round of 50, while sophomore Betsy Hollo (Natick, MA/Natick) finished eighth with a 51.
West Liberty State won the event with a score of 186 followed by Grove City (207), W&J (213), Westminster (232) and Thiel (260).
