Grove City 2nd at own invitational
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's golf team placed second in the Grove City Invitational Thursday afternoon at Grove City Country Club. Grove City posted a team score of 435. Westminster won the team title with a team score of 383. Waynesburg did not field a complete team.
Freshman Renee Ward (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) placed fourth individually for Grove City with a 96. Westminster's Kelly Spisak earned medalist honors with a 92.
Grove City will compete in Westminster's Eckles Invitational Monday at New Castle Country Club.
