Wolverines close season at W&J
CANONSBURG, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's golf team closed the 2007 season Monday afternoon by competing in the Washington & Jefferson Southpointe Invitational at Southpointe Golf Club. Grove City placed fourth in the four-team competition with 497 strokes. W&J won with 380, followed by Mercyhurst (410) and Westminster (442).
Freshman Renee Ward (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) placed 11th overall with a 104. W&J's Leslie Walker earned medalist with an 88.
