Grove City takes 3rd at Westminster
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's golf team placed third at Westminster College's Eckles Invitational Monday afternoon at New Castle Country Club. The Wolverines accumulated a team score of 434 in taking third. Washington & Jefferson won the team title with a 375 while Westminster shot 421. Saint Vincent (435) and Thiel (522) rounded out the field.
Sophomore Renee Ward (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park) fired a 95 to place fifth individually. Freshman Corinne Seiling (Monaca, Pa./Center) took ninth with a 99. W&J's Alison Lazorckak earned medalist with an 88.
Grove City will compete in the Saint Vincent Invitational Thursday in Latrobe, Pa.
