Grove City earns 2nd at Saint Vincent
LATROBE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's golf team placed second at the six-team Saint Vincent College Lady Bearcat Invitational Thursday afternoon at Glengarry Golf Links. Grove City accumulated a team score of 383 on the par-70 course. Washington & Jefferson won the team title with a 358.
Sophomore Casey Warso (New Castle, Pa./Neshannock) fired a 92 to place sixth individually. Freshman Arielle Goyzueta (Goshen, N.Y./Goshen) finished seventh with a 93. W&J's Leslie Walker earned medalist with an 85.
Grove City will compete in the Thiel College Invitational Saturday at the Greens of Greenville.
