Wolverines win Thiel Invite
GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's golf team captured the team title at the Thiel Invitational Saturday afternoon at The Greens of Greenville. Grove City accumulated a team score of 401 to win the crown. Westminster (414) and Hiram (440) rounded out the field.
Junior Shayla Benninger (Butler, Pa./Butler) and freshman Arielle Goyzueta (Goshen, N.Y./Goshen) tied for third overall as each shot a 96. Hiram's Ing Klowchoran earned medalist with a 76.
Grove City will compete in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships Tuesday and Wednesday at Oak Tree Country Club in West Middlesex, Pa.
