Grove City takes 3rd at Saint Vincent
LATROBE, Pa. -- The Grove City College placed third out of four teams at the Saint Vincent College Bearcat Invitational Friday afternoon at Glengarry Lakes. The Wolverines finished with a team score of 386. Division II member Seton Hill won the event with a 332 while Division II Fairmont State finished second at 372. Saint Vincent rounded out the four-team field with a score of 418.
Freshman Esther Durling (Perry, Mich./Perry) led Grove City by tying for eighth overall with a 92. Freshman Meghan Love (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Hollidaysburg) tied for 10th with a 96. Junior Ellie Stanchak (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) and freshman Victoria Van Buskirk (Alliance, Ohio/Marlington) tied for 13th with 99s.
Seton Hill's Ashley Ward earned medalist with a 77.
Grove City will compete in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championships Monday and Tuesday at Cedarbrook Golf Course in Belle Vernon, Pa.
