Grove City 3rd at Thiel
GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's golf team opened its spring season Saturday by taking third place in the five-team Thiel College Invitational at The Greens of Greenville. Grove City finished the day with a team score of 434. Ursuline College won the event with a 371.
Sophomore Esther Durling (Perry, Mich./Perry) placed ninth overall with a 106 and junior Kayla Finney (Valencia, Pa./Mars) took 11th with a round of 107.
Ursuline's Talia Travoto earned medalist with an 89.
Grove City will compete in the Westminster College Eckles Invitational Monday in New Castle, Pa.
