Grove City finishes 3rd
TECUMSEH, Mich. -- The Grove City College women's golf team placed third out of seven teams at the Siena Heights (Mich.) Invitational Friday afternoon at Hantz Golf Club. Grove City finished the tournament with a team score of 402. Host Siena Heights won with a 380 and Lourdes took second with a 385 team score.
Two Grove City golfers placed in the top six in the 30-golfer field. Sophomore Esther Durling (Perry, Mich./Perry) carded a 94 and placed fourth. Meanwhile, junior Kayla Finney (Valencia, Pa./Mars) captured sixth place with a 95. Lourdes' Brooke Darah won the event with a 90.
Grove City will compete in the Waynesburg Invitational Monday at 11:30 a.m.
