Grove City women finish third at Saint Vincent Invite
LATROBE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's golf team shot a 375 to finish third out of nine teams at the Saint Vincent Women's Golf Invitational at the Glengarry Golf Links on Thursday afternoon.
Junior Esther Durling (Perry, Mich./Perry) led the way for the Wolverines with an 85 on the par-70 course to finish seventh individually in the 42-golfer field. Senior Kayla Finney (Valencia, Pa./Mars) finished 11th with a 92 while junior Victoria Van Buskirk (Alliance, Ohio/Marlington) added a 96 and freshman Jordan Greenwall (Denver, Colo./Arapahoe) a 102 to round out the scoring for Grove City.
Notre Dame (Ohio) won the team competition with a 333 while Point Park's Karina Palmberg earned medalist honors with a 76.
Grove City returns to action on Saturday at the Westminster Invitational.
