Grove City takes 3rd at Saint Vincent
LATROBE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's golf team placed third at the six-team Saint Vincent Invitational, held Thursday afternoon at Glengarry Golf Links. The Wolverines accumulated a team score of 399. Saint Vincent won with a 381 and Point Park took second at 389.
Junior Esther Durling (Perry, Mich./Perry), this week's Presidents' Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week, took second overall with an 89. Senior Kayla Finney (Valencia, Pa./Mars) placed fifth with a 95.
Saint Vincent's Sarah Rebitch earned medalist honors with an 84. Thirty-four golfers competed in the event.
Grove City will compete in Westminster College's Eckles Invitational Saturday in New Castle, Pa.
