Wolverines win Westminster Invitational
NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's golf team shot a team score of 387 to win the Westminster College Eckles Invitational on a scorecard tiebreaker over Point Park at the New Castle Country Club on Saturday afternoon.
Junior Esther Durling (Perry, Mich./Perry) led the Wolverines and finished fourth individually with a 91 while freshman Jordan Greenwall (Denver, Colo./Arapahoe) had one of her best rounds of the year to finish sixth with a 93. Junior Meghan Love (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Hollidaysburg) and senior Kayla Finney (Valencia, Pa./Mars) posted rounds of 100 and 103, respectively.
Point Park's Karina Palmberg earned medalist honors with a round of 82.
Grove City hosts its home Spring Invitational on Monday at the Grove City Country Club.
