Grove City 3rd at Saint Vincent
LATROBE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's golf team placed third out of five teams Tuesday afternoon at the Saint Vincent Fall Invitational, held at Champion Lakes Golf Course. The Wolverines compiled a team score of 452. Point Park won the tournament with a team score of 378, followed by Saint Vincent at 394.
Sophomore Carolyn Jack (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) led Grove City's effort by tying for seventh with a 101. Saint Vincent's Samm Firestone and Point Park's Priscilla Nevarez tied for medalist with 89s.
Grove City returns to action October 2-3 at the Presidents' Athletic Conference Fall Championships in Belle Vernon, Pa.
