HEAD COACH TIM RICE

Tim Rice is in his third season as head coach of the Grove City College women's golf team.

Rice came to Grove City from Williams College in Williamstown, Mass., where he was as an assistant men's basketball coach for the nationally-ranked Ephs.  He helped Williams record its eighth straight 20-win season and earn a berth in the 2000 NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.

Rice recently completed his third season as Grove City's assistant men's basketball coach, helping the Wolverines win the Presidents' Athletic Conference while finishing 18-9. 

He also serves as head men's golf coach and as an instructor in the College's department of physical education.

Rice received a bachelor of science degree in physical education in 1993 from the University of Mobile, in Mobile, Ala. He completed his Master of Sport Science degree in sport management in 1999 from the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Ala.

Rice began his coaching career in 1994 at Pillsbury College in Owatonna, Minn. where he was an assistant men’s basketball and head cross country coach for two years. 

In 1997, Rice handled the duties of men’s head basketball coach and athletic director at Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, Mo.

Rice and his wife Candy reside in Grove City.
