The defending PAC champion Lady Wolverines open their 2001 schedule Tuesday night against perennial power Mount Union.


Grove City kicked off its 107th season of football Saturday on a picture perfect day at Thorn Field.  Dickinson spoiled the opening -day festivities, however, outgaining the Wolverines 311-183 en route to a 23-14 victory.


The Pittsburgh Steelers have named R.J. Bowers to its 2001 practice squad.  Bowers spoke with Steelers running backs coach, Dick Hoak, last spring at a workout in the College's Intramural Room.   more
