Carnegie Mellon blanks Grove City in home opener
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's soccer team fell to 1-1-1 Tuesday afternoon with a 3-0 loss to visiting Carnegie Mellon (2-0-1).
Carnegie Mellon's Lisa Pascoli gave the Tartans a 1-0 lead with a goal in the 26th minute. CMU's Hallie Dumont added a pair of second-half goals to seal the win.
Carnegie Mellon out-shot Grove City 15-3. The Lady Wolverines return to action Saturday at 11 a.m. against visiting John Carroll.
