Following a goal from Thiel's Katie Mound on a penalty kick that cut the lead in half, Grove City's Kate Klingensmith (Wexford, Pa./Pine-Richland) pushed Grove City's lead to 3-1 with an unassisted goal at 41:11 of the first half.
Novosel capped the match's scoring in the 53rd minute with her second goal of the afternoon. Junior Autumn Hubbard (Nampa, Idaho/Nampa Christian) supplied the assist.
