Grove City drops opener at Frostburg
FROSTBURG, Md. -- The Grove City College women's soccer team opened the 2004 season with a 2-1 loss at Frostburg State Wednesday afternoon in both teams' opener.
Senior Michelle Novosel (New Wilmington, Pa./Wilmington) tallied Grove City's lone goal, scoring in the 35th minute. Sophomore goalkeeper Kori Koper (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) made seven saves for Grove City (0-1).
The Wolverines will host Penn State Altoona Friday afternoon at 4 p.m.
