Grove City falls to Allegheny
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Visiting Allegheny (4-2-2) pulled out a 1-0 victory over Grove City (4-5-1) in non-conference women's soccer action Saturday afternoon at College Field.
Allegheny's Emily Spencer scored the lone goal of the match in the 23rd minute. The Gators out-shot Grove City, 15-4. Sophomore goalkeeper Kori Koper (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) stopped three shots for Grove City.
The Wolverines open Presidents' Athletic Conference play Tuesday night at Washington and Jefferson at 7 p.m.
