Grove City falls in opener, 2-0
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's soccer team opened the 2005 season with a 2-0 loss to visiting Wilmington College (Ohio) Friday afternoon at College Field.
The Quakers (1-0) took a 1-0 lead in the 29th minute on a goal by Nicky Fey. Wilmington doubled its lead in the 51st minute as Kelly Reynolds scored her first goal of the year. Wilmington out-shot the Wolverines, 8-2.
In goal, Grove City freshman Diana Pragel (Rochester, N.Y./Greece Arcadia) stopped four shots. The Wolverines (0-1) will host Otterbein Saturday at 1 p.m.
