Allegheny slips past Grove City, 2-0
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's soccer team dropped to 4-2 on the season Wednesday afternoon with a 2-0 loss to visiting Allegheny in non-conference action at College Field.
Allegheny (3-2) took a 1-0 lead at 15:57 on a goal by Ashley Hughes. The Gators sealed the win at 89:20 as Christy McShea added an insurance goal.
Grove City sophomore Diana Pragel (Rochester, N.Y./Greece Arcadia) stopped eight shots in goal. Allegheny out-shot the Wolverines, 21-10.
Grove City will visit La Roche Saturday at 1 p.m.
