Grove City falls at Saint Vincent
LATROBE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's soccer team fell to 6-4 overall with a 4-1 loss at future Presidents' Athletic Conference rival Saint Vincent Saturday afternoon.
Freshman Michelle Peck (Abingdon, Md./Bel Air) scored her fourth goal of the season in the first half. Sophomore Sara Griffin (Marilla, N.Y./Nardin Academy) assisted Peck. Saint Vincent (5-6) led 3-1 at halftime.
The Bearcats owned a 13-7 edge in shots. Sophomore goalkeeper Diana Pragel (Rochester, N.Y./Greece Arcadia) stopped seven shots for the Wolverines.
Grove City will visit Carnegie Mellon Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m.
