Grove City falls at Westminster
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's soccer team fell to 1-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Tuesday afternoon with a 4-0 loss to host Westminster.
Westminster (8-3-1, 2-0 PAC) scored twice in each half to secure the victory. Christina Adams posted a hat trick for the Lady Titans while Mallory Bugel added a goal and two assists.
In goal, sophomore Diana Pragel (Rochester, N.Y./Greece Arcadia) stopped six shots for Grove City (7-5 overall). Westminster owned a 22-12 edge in shots.
Grove City will host PAC rival Bethany Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. as part of Homecoming Weekend.
