Saints hand Grove City first loss
WILDER, Ky. -- The Grove City College women's soccer team fell from the ranks of the unbeaten Tuesday afternoon as host Thomas More earned a 4-0 victory over the Wolverines in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match at the Town & Country complex. Grove City is now 11-1-1 overall and 2-1 in the PAC.
Thomas More (12-1, 4-0 PAC) led 3-0 at halftime before adding an insurance goal in the second half. Each team had 13 shots.
In goal, Grove City junior Bethany Preston (Elma, N.Y./Iroquois) stopped five shots.
Grove City returns to action Saturday afternoon at Chatham at 1 p.m.
