October 6, 1998--Freshman Adrienne Hill (Portville, NY/Portville Central) netted her team-leading fifth goal of the season in the 84th minute to lift the Grove City College women's soccer team to a 1-0 win over host John Carroll University Tuesday in Cleveland, OH.

Lady Wolverine freshmen net-minders Erica Long (Cranberry Twp., PA/Slippery Rock) and Sarah St. Clair (Erie, PA/McDowell) combined on the shutout.  Long made 11 saves in the first half, while St. Clair turned back seven second-half shots.

Grove City, now 3-7-1 overall, plays at Alfred University Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
