October 13, 1998--Freshman Kathy Keehlwetter (Mercer, PA/Mercer) scored her first collegiate goal with three minutes left in regulation Tuesday to lift the Grove City College women's soccer team past visiting Waynesburg College, 1-0, in a Presidents' Athletic Conference match-up.

Senior Megan Koerber (Clearfield, PA/Clearfield) headed the ball to Keehlwetter off a corner kick from senior Allison Franklin (Jamestown, NY/Southwestern).

The Lady Wolverines improved to 4-8-1 overall, 2-1-1 in the PAC, while Waynesburg fell to 10-4 overall, 3-1 in the league.

Freshmen keepers Sarah St. Clair (Erie, PA/McDowell) and Erica Long (Cranberry Twp., PA/Slippery Rock) combined on the shutout.

Grove City plays its next three games on the road, beginning Friday at Oberlin College.
