WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's soccer team will play for Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship Tournament title Saturday afternoon after advancing past Washington & Jefferson via shootout, 6-5, in the tournament semifinals Tuesday night at Alexandre Stadium.

In the seventh and final round of the shootout, Grove City senior goalkeeper Nicole Lapia (Pittsburgh, Pa./Chartiers Valley) stonewalled W&J's Aundria Snyder to preserve the shootout victory. Grove City took the 6-5 lead on its turn in the seventh round when sophomore Lindsay Hutton (Hackettstown, N.J./Hackettstown) scored.
