Roberts Wesleyan 4, Grove City 1


October 27, 1998--The Grove City College women's soccer team dropped its fifth straight game on Tuesday, falling to visiting Roberts Wesleyan College, 4-1.

Freshman Kathy Keehlwetter (Mercer, PA/Mercer) netted her second goal of the season off a pass from senior Allison Franklin (Jamestown, NY/Southwestern) to account for the lone Lady Wolverine tally.  Grove City had been shutout in its previous four games.

The Lady Wolverines, now 4-13-1 overall, will play Bethany College in the semi-final round of the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship Tournament on Friday at 3:00 p.m. in Bethany, WV.  GCC is the tournament's #2 seed, Bethany is #3.   Top-seeded Waynesburg College will face #4 Washington & Jefferson College in the other semi.  The Championship Game is slated for Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Bethany.

Roberts Wesleyan improved to 12-6-1 overall.
