Geneva 2, Grove City 0

September 4, 1998--Grove City was outshot 21 to 7 in a 2-0 loss to visiting Geneva Friday afternoon.  The Lady Wolverines fell to 1-1 overall, while Geneva improved to 2-0.

The Golden Tornadoes tallied both goals in the second half, one off the foot of Erin Ward, the other by Dana Knoche.

Grove City freshman net-minder Sarah St. Clair (Erie, PA/McDowell) shined in goal with 11 saves.

The Lady Wolverines had scored at least one goal in their six previous games dating back to last year.  They host Penn State-Behrend next Tuesday, September 8, at 4:00 p.m.
