Penn State-Behrend 2, Grove City 1

September 8, 1998--Penn State-Behrend rallied from a 1-0 halftime deficit to defeat host Grove City, 2-1, on a rainy afternoon at the College Field.  Behrend improved to 3-0, while Grove City fell to 1-2.

Grove City sophomore Erica Snow (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) put the Lady Wolverines ahead 1-0 at 28:00 of the first half with a goal off a pass from freshman Adrienne Hill (Portville, NY/Portville Central).

The Lady Lions tied the game on a goal by Lisa Fox at 32:22 of the second, then got the game-winner from Laura Furko with 6:49 left in regulation.

The Lady Wolverines were outshot 34 to 7.

Behrend is now 4-0 all-time against Grove City.

The Lady Wolverines host Fredonia Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
