Fredonia 2, Grove City 1

September 12, 1998--The Lady Wolverine soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to visiting Fredonia Saturday afternoon.

The Blue Devils took a 1-0 lead into halftime on a goal by Kelly Domm.  Grove City freshman Adrienne Hill (Portville, NY/Portville Central) answered with a goal at 19:02 of the second half off a pass from junior Autum Early (Sarver, PA/Freeport).  The goal marked Hill's second of the season.

Deirdre Abels netted the game-winner with 15:30 left in regulation to improve Fredonia's record to 3-1.  Grove City fell to 1-3.

The three-time defending Presidents'  Athletic Conference champion Lady Wolverines open up league play next Thursday at Bethany.  Game time is set for 4:00 p.m.
