Bethany 3, Grove City 2


September 17, 1998--The Grove City College women's soccer team dropped its third straight one-goal decision Thursday, losing 3-2 at Bethany College in both schools' Presidents' Athletic Conference opener. 

The Lady Wolverines, 1-4 overall, rallied from a 3-0 deficit with goals by sophomore Erica Snow (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) and senior Allison Franklin (Jamestown, NY/Southwestern).  Senior Brenna Conroy (Pittsburgh, PA/Woodland Hills) assisted on both tallies.   Snow's goal marked her third of the season.  Franklin's was her second.

Freshman goalie Erica Long (Cranberry Twp./Slippery Rock) had 10 saves in Grove City's net.

The Lady Wolverines host Allegheny College Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
