September 19, 1998--The Grove City College women's soccer team suffered its fourth straight one-goal loss Saturday, falling to visiting Allegheny College, 1-0.

The Lady Wolverines, 1-5 overall, played the Lady Gators even for 66 minutes before Alexis Emrick netted the game's only goal with 24:02 left in regulation.

Allegheny, now 4-5 overall, has won the last five meetings against Grove City.

GCC freshman goalkeeper Sarah St. Clair (Erie, PA/McDowell) made six saves.

The Lady Wolverines host Thiel in a PAC match-up next Wednesday, September 23, at 4:00 p.m.
