Grove City 4, Thiel 0


September 23, 1998--Freshman Adrienne Hill (Portville, NY/Portville Central) netted two goals to lead the Grove City College women's soccer team past visiting Thiel College, 4-0, Wednesday at the College Field.

The win snapped the Lady Wolverines' (2-5, 1-1 PAC) five-game slide and sent the Lady Cats (0-5, 0-3 PAC) to their fifth straight loss.

Hill's two tallies marked her team-leading third and fourth goals on the season.  Senior Brenna Conroy (Pittsburgh, PA/Woodland Hills) scored her first goal of the year and added an assist, while freshman Mary DeBuck (McLean, VA/Georgetown Visitation) also recorded her first goal in '98.

Grove City out-shot Thiel, 42-5.

The Lady Wolverines play at Houghton College Saturday at 3:00 p.m.
