La Roche Edges Lady Wolverines PITTSBURGH, PA, September 1, 1999--The Lady Wolverine soccer team watched a 1-0 lead slip away as host La Roche broke a 1-1 tie in the final minute to claim the season opener for both schools. Jen Bailey (Simsbury, CT/The Master's School) opened the scoring in the second half by netting a rebound off a shot from Erica Snow (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek). Erica Long (Cranberry Twp., PA/Slippery Rock) played the first half in goal for the Lady Wolverines and made eight saves without allowing a goal. |
