GCC Nipped Again, 2-1 FREDONIA, NY, September 3, 1999--Grove City suffered its second 2-1 setback in three days, falling at Fredonia State on Friday. The Lady Wolverines, as they did Wednesday, went up 1-0 when Jen Bailey (Simsbury, CT/The Master's School) netted her second goal of the season off a pass from Autum Early (Sarver, PA/Freeport). Katy Turman (Meadowbrook, PA/Abington) played the first half in net and turned back all three shots she faced. Fredonia tallied its two goals in the first 25 minutes of the second half. |
