CMU Nets 2-1 Win GROVE CITY, PA, October 15, 1999--The Grove City College women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to visiting Carnegie Mellon University in a non-conference matchup Friday. CMU scored both of its goals in the first half, one three minutes in, the other with nine minutes left before intermission. Eric Snow (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) accounted for Grove City's only tally late in the second half (unassisted), her team-leading eighth goal of the season. The Lady Tartans out-shot GCC, 16-6. The Lady Wolverines fell to 7-7-1 overall, while CMU improved to 5-5-2. |
