ASSISTANT
COACH DR. STAN KEEHLWETTER
Dr. Stan Keehlwetter enters his
14th season
as the assistant women's soccer coach at Grove City.
As an assistant at Grove City, Keehlwetter has helped Grove City capture two
Presidents' Athletic Conference titles and eight postseason invitations.
Keehlwetter joined Grove City College as the
Dean of Harbison Chapel in 1999 and became full-time in that position in
2004. As Dean of Harbison Chapel, Keehlwetter works closely with student-led
religious organizations on campus and also coordinates the College's Chapel
program.
Keehlwetter also served as Grove City's head men's track and field coach
from 2004-2008. Under his
guidance, the Wolverines captured four consecutive PAC titles (2005-2008).
Nearly 50 track and field athletes have qualified for the ECAC Championships
in his five years as head men's track and field coach. In 2007, thrower Bob
Perri earned All-America honors in the shot put at the NCAA Division III
Championships.
Keehlwetter currently serves as an assistant
track coach at the college.
A graduate of Gordon College, where he was a three-year starter on the men's
soccer team, Keehlwetter owns master's degrees from Duquesne and Gordon-Conwell
Theological Seminary. He earned his doctorate from Fuller Theological
Seminary.
Keehlwetter lives in Mercer with his wife, Lois. They have three adult
children.
