Hiram defeats Grove City
HIRAM, Ohio -- The Grove City College women's swimming and diving team fell to 2-2 Saturday afternoon with a 117-92 dual meet loss at Hiram in non-conference action.
Hiram won the first 10 events before competing in the last three on an exhibition basis. Senior Jaclyn Bellissimo (North Canton, Ohio/Hoover) earned second-place finishes in the 50-meter free (29.61) and 100 free (1:03.97) to lead the Wolverines.
Grove City returns to action Jan. 14, 2006 against Washington and Jefferson.
