Grove City falls to Presidents
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's swimming and diving team fell to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Saturday afternoon with a 137-77 loss to PAC rival Washington and Jefferson (9-1) at the Grove City College Pool.
Senior Jaclyn Bellissimo (North Canton, Ohio/Hoover) posted Grove City's lone win, taking first in the 500 with a time of 5 minutes, 34.15 seconds. Freshman Whitney Fairchild (Corry, Pa./Corry) took second in both the 200 back (2:23.21) and the 1000 (11:40.72).
Grove City will visit Westminster Tuesday night in a PAC dual meet.
