Grove City falls at Westminster
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's swimming and diving team is 2-4 overall and 1-2 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference following a 110-92 loss at Westminster Tuesday night in the Memorial Field House natatorium.
Freshman Kiersten Bower (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) earned a pair of wins for the Wolverines. Bower won the 200 butterfly in 2 minutes, 16.26 seconds. She also teamed with freshman Alyse Brannon (Purcellville, Va./Homeschooled), senior Amanda Brozenic (Slippery Rock, Pa./Slippery Rock) and senior Ellen Magee (Cincinnati, Ohio/Homeschooled) to help Grove City with the meet-opening 400 medley relay (4:09.71).
Grove City will host Wooster Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. in non-conference action.
