Wooster tops Wolverines
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's swimming and diving team fell to 2-5 Saturday afternoon with a 123-108 home loss to Wooster in a non-conference dual meet in the Grove City College Pool.
Four Grove City swimmers earned individual victories Saturday. Sophomore Ellen Keefer (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville) won the 50 free in 25.99 seconds while senior Jaclyn Bellissimo (North Canton, Ohio/Hoover) won the 200 free in 2:01.44.
Senior Amanda Brozenic (Slippery Rock, Pa./Slippery Rock) won the 100 breaststroke in 1:09.80 while freshman Kiersten Bower (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) touched first in the 100 butterfly (1:01.12).
Grove City will wrap up the dual-meet portion of the 2005-06 schedule Friday evening at Penn State Behrend.
