Grove City competes in quad meet at Kenyon
GAMBIER, Ohio -- The Grove City College women's swimming and diving team is 3-4 after competing in a quadrangular meet at Kenyon College Saturday afternoon. Grove City dropped a 164-86 decision to Case Western Reserve. The Wolverines also fell to Kenyon and Washington & Jefferson by identical 219-61 scores.
Freshman Jane Wilson (Newberg, Ore./Veritas School) led Grove City's effort by winning the 100 free in 54.74 seconds. She also took second in the 50 free (24.56). Sophomore Kiersten Bower (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) took third in the 200 butterfly (2:30.30) while junior Ellen Keefer (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville) finished fourth in the 100 free with a mark of 56.92.
Grove City will host Gannon Monday night at 6 p.m. in non-conference action.
