Grove City falls at W&J
WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's swimming and diving team is now 1-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference after dropping a 140-113 decision to host Washington & Jefferson Saturday afternoon at the Henry Memorial Center.
Freshman Jane Wilson (Newberg, Ore./Veritas) earned a pair of victories for Grove City (5-7 overall). Wilson won the 50 in 25.47 seconds, then won the 100 free in 55.80 seconds. Junior Ellen Keefer (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville) earned a pair of second-place finishes for Grove City. Keefer took second in the 100 free (56.50) and also placed second in the 200 free (2:04.16).
Grove City will host Westminster Tuesday night at 6 p.m.
