Denison tops Grove City
GRANVILLE, Ohio -- The Grove City College women's swimming and diving team dropped a 194-99 decision at national powerhouse Denison Saturday afternoon in non-conference dual meet action.
Freshman Megan Smith (Tyler, Texas/Kolbe Academy) earned two wins for Grove City in distance events. She won the 500 free in 5 minutes, 18.47 seconds and also took the 1000 (10:46.81).
Sophomore Carolyn Eckendorf (Fairview, Pa./Fairview) won 3-meter diving with 373.50 points. She also took second in 1-meter diving with a score of 404.40 points.
Grove City will host Fredonia State next Saturday at 1 p.m.
